Marie Haugejorden Schau is an accomplished flutist currently based in Odense, where she is enrolled in the prestigious soloist program at SDMK, studying under Rune Most. Her extensive education includes studies at the Norwegian Academy of Music, the Royal Danish Academy of Music, and the University of Agder, where she honed her craft under esteemed mentors such as Per Flemstrøm, Henrik Svitzer, and Anna Dina Bjørn-Larsen.

In addition to her academic pursuits, Marie maintains a dynamic career as a freelance musician. She regularly performs as an assistant with renowned orchestras, including the Odense, Kristiansand, and Stavanger Symphony Orchestras, while also showcasing her talent in solo and chamber music performances. Beyond performing, she is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of musicians, teaching flute and piccolo at Danehofgarden in Nyborg.
