At the festival we have some pianists who play at the masterclasses and some of the concerts.
Ulrik Vesti is a pianist and improvisor with a diploma from The Royal Academy of Music Aarhus, and further studies from the Art of Practicing Institute in New York. For years he has had extensive concert activity both as a soloist and accompanist, and furthermore released several recordings with his own compositions. On a daily basis he works as an accompanist at the Royal Danish Theatre, as well as Tivoli Ballet Theatre in Copenhagen.
Emil Gryesten Jensen has studied at det Royal Danish Music Academy and Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, with further education at the Como International Piano Academy in Italy. Among his prominent teachers is Erik Tawaststjerna, Eero Heineken, Dmitri Bashkirov, William Grant Naboré, Fou Ts’ong and Niklas Sivelöv from The Royal Danish Academy of Music.
Emil Gryesten has received awards from several danish and international competitions for young pianists. As 15 years old he won the 1. prize at the Steinway-competition in Hamburg and the gold medal at the Danish competition “Berlingske Tidende” Classical Music Competition in Copenhagen.
Arne Jørgen Fæø
Arne Jørgen Fæø has studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Music with a specialization in chamber music and accompaniment.
For many years he has had a very versatile career as a chamber musician, accompanist and soloist, and is also associated with Aalborg Symphony Orchestra as orchestral pianist and organist.
Arne Jørgen Fæø has collaborated with a number of flutists including Ulla Miilmann (The Danish National Symphony Orchestra), Claus Ettrup Larsen (former solo flutist in Aalborg Symphony Orchestra), Camille Guénot and Ida Marie Sørmo (Aalborg Symphony Orchestra)
